• This website is my personal home page (not an NGO one) which I (Guillaume Chapron) manage during my free time since summer 2001. It is intended to provide the best up to date and rigorous information to carnivore conservationists, scientists and concerned citizens.
   
• There is a lot of documents available, and hundreds of Go have been downloaded since the portal creation. In November 2005, the website was featured in Science .
   
• Actually, I've a 4-year assistant professor position at Grimsö Wildlife Research Station, Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (SLU). of Sweden. My research interest is carnivore quantitative ecology applied to conservation (see my list of publications). My PhD focused on the viability of carnivore populations and was defended in spring 2004 at the University of Paris 6, France.
